Mining operations procedure

Op guide lines

Fleeting up

Please fleet up 30 mins. before op starts so the fleet commander (FC) can sort squads ready for op.  This gives us enough time to arrange squads Before the op starts and orcas are deployed.  We'll try to keep all alts together.  If you arrive late, Please ask in fleet chat/Discord where/who to go to with, as you will automatically be sent into a holding squad when you join.

Fleet setup

Please check the fleet window for more info on where you will be mining at. Please stick to your assigned squad unless told so by the FC

Orca pilots to go the assigned Belt ready to warp to the belt as soon as possible, Miners to follow and wait for your booster.

Equal number of miners per orca where possible

Squad setup

Moon belts

Don't crowd other squads - Top most squad in wing choose a big roid around the edge of the belt.  All other squads at that belt choose one a good distance away.  If all the biggest roids seem to be around the same area, check out slightly smaller roids that may be far enough away

Achieve max possilbe drone yield - Warp to your chosen roid then 'Approach' it when you come out of warp. The closer you are to the roid, the better your squads drones perform as their flight time cuts into their yield.  It will also allow you to save your Augmented drones if a bumper takes a liking to them.

Keep an eye on your fleet hangar, move ore around regular and compress so miners can transfer.

Please join discords comms where possible to help the rely of information during the op quicker

Procedure.

All miners right click their squad commanders orca and keep at range by 2km

right click your ships and open ore hold

When you are within the range specified right click again and select open fleet hanger.

Target the closest asteroid(this should be the drone roid) and set drones to mine. Then unless told otherwise select an asteroid within range that is not already being mined, Target and mine. it is recommended to have 1 asteroid per laser.

please compresss all of your ore in your own ore hold and hen your ships ore hold is 50% full, Transfer the ore by holding left click and drag it to the orca's fleet hanger.

Miners

Drones on the closest, lasers at range as the orca doesn't have to move to new 'roids to put drones on (see above).

If there is nothing left in range switch to the closest and move when it's gone.

Make sure you have enough crystals before the op

Stick with your assigned booster, don't overcrowd other squads

Stay within 2000 m of booster so you can transfer ore - right click->keep at range->2000 m - right click->open fleet hangar

Inform booster if you can't transfer - they're not just watching the fleet hangar fill up!!

Payment

All ores are to be sent to alliance to be sold off to pay for the running of the moon belts
